Q: What products and brands are included?
The brands you can promote depend on the affiliate programs you apply to. I can’t give a list that applies to everyone, because it varies by country and program. If you have a specific brand in mind, feel free to reach out.
Q: Will this work where I live?
This course is designed to help hairdressers all over the world. I personally teach from my experience in Australia and share programs that are also available in the UK, U.S.A, Europe, and beyond.
I’ve curated a list of affiliate programs that give hairdressers the most flexibility and opportunity. The full list is included in my free seminar.
Q: Do I need to be an influencer to get and use affiliate codes?
Not at all, I’m not!
What you do need is at least one traffic source (like social media or a website). I use Instagram, and all examples in the course use Instagram to show you exactly how it works.
Q: How many followers do I need to be accepted into programs?
Follower count is only one factor. I started with around 1,000 followers, and a stylist in my focus group was accepted with just 51 followers.
Each program has its own criteria, and while I provide tips to improve your chances, I can’t guarantee acceptance, that would be unethical.
But I’ll guide you every step of the way.
Q: Can I do this without using social media?
If you don’t have an active traffic source (like Instagram or a website), this may not be the right time for you. Some programs check for engagement, not just follower count. If you’re not active online then this course is not for you.
Q: Do I need any special tech?
You don’t need fancy equipment, but some things will make it easier. A laptop or desktop is ideal for setting up your affiliate programs at the beginning. To post content you will need your smart phone (I use an iPhone)
